Letter assignment

This is an example of what we are doing in our visual communication class. This sample demonstrates how letters can be used outside of their traditional layout forms in an artistic manner, drawing upon both the shape aspect of the typeface and the negative space around the letter form. 

I'll keep posting as we progress in this project.

    Oh boy, do I remember this project and all the other ones that semester or what (I'm also a graphic design major). Do you have Dan or Ray? I hope you like gouache. :) I'm excited to see more of your work. Good luck!

    They're switching things up this year. I have Carol for one half of the semester and Dan for the other half.
